IN MEMORY OF ULA KOZLOWSKA
Urszula Kozlowska joined our chapter of the MOMS Club in 2008. Ula, as she was known to friends and family, came to Ithaca in 2006. She was employed by Cornell University in the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology. Following a brief but courageous battle with colon cancer, Ula passed away in September 2008. Although many of us only knew Ula for a short time, her spirit and love, even in the face of great emotional and physical crisis, inspired us all. Ula is survived by her loving husband Marcin and her young son Patryk who have subsequently returned to Poland since Ula's passing.
